Less Stiffness and Happier Joints
C60 Helps Joint flexibility. Resulting by helping Arthritis including Rheumatoid, osteo and psoriatic arthitis
suppress inflammatory responses
Study of C60 benefits suggests that it may suppress the body’s natural inflammatory responses. It appears that the ability of C60 to deal with free radicals gives the body the time to heal itself before the inflammatory response sets in. protect against the oxidative stress-induced diseases, through the mechanism involving the acceleration of expression of DNA repair enzyme Ogg1 (8-Oxoguanine DNA glycosylase).”
Osteoarthritis
A painful condition that is characterised by stiff and inflamed joints, the risk of osteoarthritis increases with age. Much of the pain felt is caused by the lack of protective fluid between the joints, which prevents them from rubbing against each other when moving. The immune system garners its inflammatory response to deal with the cells damaged in this process, which in turn leads to free radical formation and oxidative stress. Ironically it is the body’s attempts to heal itself that can make this condition worse.
C60 Lubricates the joints to maintain a smooth joint function as well as deals with free radicals that induce oxidative stress that results in the inflammation of muscles and joints.
Cartilage
C60 significantly reduced articular cartilage degeneration in a rabbit model of OA produced by resection of the joint ligament. Researchers also compared the inhibitory effect of C60 on cartilage degeneration with that of HA (Sodium Hyaluronate) in the rabbit model of OA. Hyaluronate, a component of glycoconjugates, shows high viscosity, has an important role in retaining moisture, and lubricates, coats, and protects joint functions.
C60 + Sodium Hyaluronate might make the bigger
improvement on OA than by themselves.
What causes arthritis
Cartilage is a firm but flexible connective tissue in your joints. It protects the joints by absorbing the pressure and shock created when you move and put stress on them. A reduction in the normal amount of this cartilage tissue cause some forms of arthritis.
Normal wear and tear causes OA (osteoarthritis), one of the most common forms of arthritis. An infection or injury to the joints can exacerbate this natural breakdown of cartilage tissue. Your risk of developing OA may be higher if you have a family history of the disease.
Another common form of arthritis, RA (Rheumatoid arthritis), is an autoimmune disorder. It occurs when your body’s immune system attacks the tissues of the body. These attacks affect the synovium, a soft tissue in your joints that produces a fluid that nourishes the cartilage and lubricates the joints.
RA is a disease of the synovium that will invade and destroy a joint. It can eventually lead to the destruction of both bone and cartilage inside the joint.
